Our program has always operated on the premise that a person's financial status should not dictate his or her ability to participate in STRIDE. Over 60% of our participants rely on some form of financial assistance to attend our activities. In turn, we write grants, hold fundraisers, and count on donations to ensure these amazing individuals have a program they truly deserve.

While we are a Medicaid Program, there are costs & expenses that those fees don't cover. When we go out into the community and the business charges $5.00 for the activity, that's the price we charge the participants. We don't pass along any staff costs, overhead, or transportation costs to the participants.​​​​​

​​We are a local non profit with no affiliations to state or national organizations. This means that we are able to focus all our efforts & funding on a local level.
